In one room an overhead<br \/>\nprojector is used to allow visitors to select and display from among 100<br \/>\ntransparency images representative of the influence of African Americans<br \/>\nsince 1906; <em>100 Black Americans<\/em>. The second room is used to consider<br \/>\ncollisions between the natural order and the material world; <em>Collisions<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/stanwoodard.com\/100\/index.html\">Click here for images of people selected for<br \/>\nthe project<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Considering the observation of the centenary of the 1906 Atlanta Race<br \/>\nRiot brought a number of conflicting thoughts to mind. The event was not<br \/>\nto be a celebration. A re-enactment was not hoped for. Examining the &#8216;rights<br \/>\nand wrongs&#8217; of the situation would not have advanced the discussion.
